My favorite advice on writing: "A character with certain weaknesses, when being put through the wringer of a particular struggle, is forged and tempered into a changed being." - John Truby, The Anatomy of Story: 22 Steps to Becoming a Master Storyteller

Favorite Authors: Taylor Jenkins Reid, Caroline Leavitt, David Sedaris, Leigh Bardugo, Laura Hilldenbrand, JK Rowling, Helen Fielding, and Maria Semple

"The best part about working with Jennifer Hummer is how she helped me pinpoint my characters' motives, which led me to understand their actions, instead of arbitrarily creating a plot line for them."

- Annie B., novelist

"I have known and worked with Jennifer for several years when she read scripts for movie stars, directors, and indie film agents who specifically requested her to review material. Jennifer was my ace."
